Clay & Claudia's Toll House Pie

Have a carton of milk on hand when you serve this. It is delicious! Clay & Claudia Worley made this while several of Clay's staff visited their Clifton, Virginia home. Clay was my former HR Director and is pictured here with Claudia, his wife, and Brooke and Brian, two of his children, at a Mission Bay picnic.

Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9” pie crust
2 large eggs.
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1-1/2 sticks butter, softened
½ cup flour
1, 6-oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, chopped

Beat eggs until foamy. Add flour, sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spoon into pie shell. Bake 55-60 min. at 325 degrees until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm with sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
